Our Returns Policy
Return for Credit Unused Product. At its option, the Seller known as “The Door Access Company” may accept as a return for credit unused (“unused” also includes items whose security seal has not been broken) product in its unopened original packaging (Unless explicitly sold Unboxed) and in a complete (i.e. complete with original instructions, all leads and ancillary equipment, etc.) condition that could be sold as new, providing the product was purchased from the Seller no more than thirty (30) days prior to the date of return. The Buyer must provide proof of purchase within the preceding thirty (30) days unless purchased through our website. The Buyer shall be responsible for any freight on returns. No cash refunds will be given.
Special Order Items: Defined by “The Door Access Company” as not stocked as core are, at the seller’s option, non-returnable or may be returned with written authorisation subject to a restocking fee unless proven to be defective. Once the order has been placed, the customer commits to paying in full for the product including any associated costs including freight. As such, the customer will be liable for all charges if the order is cancelled prior to the order being delivered. For non-returnable items, no return privileges apply.
Defectives & Product for Repair: Goods that are returned under warranty shall be returned transportation prepaid to The Door Access Company. No goods will be accepted for return without an authorization number (RMA) obtained in advance of shipment to The Door Access Company and the Buyer must provide proof of purchase of Goods from The Door Access Company (unless ordered through our website). Goods that are determined to be defective shall be repaired or replaced, at The Door Access Company’s option, and return shipped with transportation prepaid. Goods subject to contamination, wear, and tear, or burnout through usage shall not be deemed defective because of such contamination, wear and tear, or burnout. No warranty shall apply if no fault is found by the manufacturer or, in the sole opinion of The Door Access Company or the manufacturer, the defect or damage was caused by or related to installation, combination with other parts and/or products, modification to or repair of any goods other than by The Door Access Company, or resulted from Buyer’s acts, omissions, misuse, or negligence. Goods that are not found by The Door Access Company to be faulty shall be subject to a handling charge of 25% of the product’s price. Repaired or replaced goods shall be warranted for the remainder of the unused warranty term or for 90 days from shipment, whichever is longer. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to ensure that the Goods are fit for the application in which they are used before removing any security seals on the packaging. The software will be furnished on a medium that is free of defects in materials or workmanship under normal use for so long as the hardware and/or system is under warranty. As for the quality or performance of any software or data, they are supplied “AS IS” WITH NO WARRANTY (unless a separate warranty is purchased directly from “The Door Access Company”). If The Door Access Company provides any services to the Buyer, including, but not limited to training or assistance with the configuration and installation of the goods, The Door Access Company shall provide such services in accordance with reasonable industry practice at such rates as may be specified by The Door Access Company prior to any commencement of work within its price list, from time to time. The Door Access Company accepts no liability to the Buyer arising out of the provision of such services.
